Any homoeopathic cures? Any at all? -- A call for case reports

_Similia_ is always looking for more homoeopathic case reports. The
basic requirements are that (1) the patient's natural symptoms must
have been noted; (2) the remedy's pathogenesis must have been known;
(3) the remedy must have been prescribed on the basis of the latter's
similarity to the former; and (4) the natural symptoms must have
disappeared and stayed away for some time at the time of writing.

If this has ever occurred in your practice and you haven't yet
published the case, the journal would like to hear from you! (And if
it hasn't, then you may like to read the journal!)

Focused firmly on real homoeopathy, _Similia_'s last two editions have
featured revealing articles by George Vithoulkas, Frans Vermeulen,
Isaac Golden, Carol Boyce, and Jon Gamble, as well as historical
insights and interviews with practising homoeopaths.

_Similia_ is peer-reviewed and is indexed by CINAHL.

Authors' guidelines are available on
and from
me. Authors receive assistance in honing their articles to the
journal's high standards.

Enquiries on overseas subscriptions and on Australian Homoeopathic
Association membership go to the association's national administrator,
Barbara Armstrong, at .

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello John,
Sorry but I do not work the waythat you describe.
What you describe is some ol' fashioned rubbish that
thankfully homeopathy has lifted itself from. I am not
interested in curing. I just just dream about the
client the night after I take the case and the remedy
comes to me in the dream. If they do not experience
any amelioration then they are just incurable.
Sometimes I do on occasion use another methodology
though. I throw darts at my materia medicas and
depending on how far through the cover and pages it
penetrates, that is the remedy of choice. I also only
work with 10- 50M potencies now to which cause
horrible aggravations but at least then I "know" I
have the right remedy! I have patented a combination
of Sul./Lyc./Psor./Kreos. and Mez. that I give for
"all" skin conditions and it is a mixture of MT. 1x,
3x, 12x, 30x, 6c, 30c, 200c, 10m and 50m. You wouldn't
believe the severity of the aggravations! This idea
came to me when I decided that what was really missing
in Homeopathy was a periodic table of the plant
kingdom. Now I just pick any plants that fit into what
I "think" they "may" do in combination and hope for
the best! So far only a dozen or so people have been
hospitalized and only 4 lawsuits are pending. But
thats what is so great about being a homeopath in the
US, is that there is no governing body to take my
license away!

Just let me know if any of my cases or
"schema" fit your strict guidelines.

Peace and prosperity, Rik

Dear Rik,

It's always a pleasure to see you put homoeopathy back in its place.
Where would we be without those able to reason free of facts, to
practise free of methodology? The borders of unguessably esoteric and
patently impossible wisdom would be closed to us, miring us in the
banalities of certainty and comprehension.

Lo and offin'!
