cell salts was Need help with severe back pain

Hi Donna,
No - exatlythat is the point.

When repeated doases of (low potency) "homeopathhic remedies" is
discussed, this is frowned upon.

When multiple "homeopathic Remedies" are discussed, this is frowned
upon.

When the same is discussed for "cell salts" it is NOT frowned upon.

But cell salts ARE made the same way as homeopathic remedies are made.

So where is the difference of effect supposed to come from?

Regards

Luise

My understanding has been that the difference of effect is supposed to
come from their "special relationship" to anyone's biochemistry.

But even aside from that, why should it be surprising or objectionable
that the same tools may be used in different ways *to accomplish
different purposes*? The goals and procedures of cell salts are not
the same as the goals and procedures of classical homeopathy.

One could apply that same reasoning (same tools+different purposes =
different procedures) to combos in general--which I've tried to do,
actually... :-) The objection then becomes, "... but is it
homeopathy?"

Hi Shannon,

I do see and appreciate your points below.

However: I am not talking about the matter of it being homeopathy or
not - the matter is clear: the use of cell salts falls only in a
very wide definition of homeopathy. I have no problem with that.

I am talking about the supposed *dangers* of prescribing resp. taking
"homeopathic", i.e. potentized remedies the way the cell salts are
used.

I cannot understand why the same remdies should be dangerous when
prescribed a certain way under the definition of homeopathy and
innocuous/beneficial when taken the same way under the definition of
cell salts.

Hi Luise,
Of course I'm only speculating; and of course some people do say that
no remedy ever causes problems for anyone, no matter the potency and no
matter the repetition. (Which goes directly against others' personal
experiences, but anyway...) So--I am only speculating, but one could
*speculate* that there *is* a difference between repeated, long-term
introduction into the body of, say, the energetic pattern (potentized
remedy) of a snake venom (which is *not* in its chemical form supposed
to be there, and is useful *only* if it represents an "artificial
disease" with similarity to (i.e. potential to replace and displace)
the already existing natural disease of the patient (this is a horrible
sentence, sorry.) and--contrasting with--the repeated, long-term
introduction of the energetic pattern (potentized remedy) of a
chemical which *is* natural to the body; in that case the "natural
disease" to which it might correspond could be either a "big picture"
imbalance--per homeopathic case presentation--or a "smaller picture"
imbalance in metabolism of the nutrient.

Again I'm only speculating, but to me it seems somewhat similar to the
difference between a nutrient (which the body is well equipped to
handle in a variety of presentations and amounts) versus a drug.

Just my tuppence. :-)

Hi Shannon,

again I agree that your "speculations" - let us by all means call them
a hypothesis - may be correct.

But (see below)
in this case a lot of homeopathic remedies should
exempt from the
label "dangerous", at least in the lower potencies. Not only the
cell-salts but also the substances that are part of food and also
all those that are innocuous when taken non-potentized; i.e. the
possible dangerous effects can only happen with poisonous substances.

Hi Luise,
Yeah, that would make sense to me too. ("Dangerous"? I'm not sure who
would want to use that strong a term...) It could be an interesting
thing to explore!
