Hello All,

A couple of years ago I did the Protien Power Diet, similar to Akins diet.
Most foolishly I got into drinking Diet Coke, about half liter a day. After
about 4 or 5 months I started to notice memory problem, increased anxiety,
fear of failure related to memory lapse, paranoia and in about 8 months I
was on the verge of panic attack, with tremoring hands, making phone calls
and not remembering the reason for the call when I was talking to the person.
Finally my friend said stop the diet coke and I did. In less than a week I
was symptom free with no residual problems. I switched to a liter of water a
day instead with my usual tea and other juices. The change with stopping was
so remarkable I have no doubt so for any of you who may have doubt don't
waste your time or life going down the trail I did.

When I want a sweetener now I use stevia. But I sometimes wonder if this
product could be too good to be true. Has anyone found any significant
research on its effects? Everything I've seen so far is antidotal.
