.... I am going out tomorrow to Israel to be with my sister who is likely to be having an angiogram on Sunday because an ECG showed that there is likely to be a problem with an artery in her heart which caused her to have palpitations and a very low blood pressure this week.
I am thinking of remedies to take and would like suggestion.
I am thinking of Ledum for the puncture wound and long term Crateagus MT. Any other suggestions. It is quite possible that she will already have had the procedure before I can get to the hospital so Arnica before is out!!!

There are very good Homeopaths in Israel, which you should consult with as liason's for your sister if she wants them; and there is a hospital that has a homeopathic wing in Jerusalem.

Thanks -she is in Haifa. I do know of classical homeopaths in Haifa but she would only take remedies from me. Most of the homeopathy I see in Israel especially by the Kupat Holim is terrible- mixopathy, more than 1 remedy given at a time to take. Don't know where they were trained!!

For listees' information - there is a solid base of classical homeopaths in Israel, many of us trained here and abroad. There are good classical homeopathy clinics operating within several hospitals, and there is some openness. A good contact if looking for classical homeopaths here is the Israel Association for Classical Homeopathy - www.homeopathy-israel.co.il . The site comes up in Hebrew but there is an English section with listing of members.
The problem with homeopathy within conventional medical centers is one that I think occurs worldwide - the centers only want to take homeopaths who are MDs, and the training MDs need to qualify is less than the "lay" person's training. One MD that I studied with decided that after one year, during which she had clearly understood very little about homeopathy, she was ready to prescribe, left the course and to the best of my knowledge is prescribing homeopathy happily and ineffectively to her patients... The Association has been in the forefront of the regulatory process, which is moving forward here but as far as I know there is as yet no legislation regarding requirements and qualifications for alternative practitioners, apart from the "not pretending to be a doctor" part.
In short - we try our best!
