Exactly. Basically this is what we call plussing.
So you can put in a cent pill in a bottle of water and bang it on the floor or palm of your hand 5/10 times between doses. Most useful in acutes.*
He then employed the same technique in LMs which we know work well.
*When I had my flu at Christmas, it was the third dose that sorted me!
