potentizing sounds

Hi all,

In class the other day I was discussing how unponderables are created. Then the discussion went to colour rx's and I mentioned that these are also made up.

Then one of the students said: "Have sounds been potentised?" We all had a laugh over the noise of the local buses in Kenya that blare out gangsta rap from their speakers at ear-breaking decibels.

So--- have sounds been potentised? music scale? Mozart? gangsta rap?

Any comments or opinions on this concept?
Sincerely,

I went to a workshop once with a woman who had perfect pitch and she could
hear everyone's "sound" and she could sing the note of that sound into the
persons ear and clear up any problems they had/and then the person's natural
sound/key would return.

So...

If we were to potentize a sound would we potentize the "nosode" (eg loud raucous music) or the "sarcode" (pure notes)

any ideas?

Sankaran has used some Indian ragas as remedies.

If you google 'Charles Wansborough', you'll find s.th. on potentized
sound. He's not classical and does a number of other things besides.
It might be of interest to someone studying sound.
