Sour smell from bottles of homeopathic remedies 290607

Hi,
Recently I bought a package of new empty amber bottles made from regular (not neutral) glass, from a company who sells its bottles to some of the world's most known homeopathic manufacturers.
After touching about 20 bottles and putting caps on them -- I noticed that my fingers have a sour or acidic smell.
I washed my hands carefully, took 10 other bottles, rubbed them with my fingers and found out that the same sour smell is sticking to my fingers. I inserted a piece of cotton on a stick and rubbed the inside of the bottles and the same smell appeared on the cotton.
I went to the supermarket and rubbed new glasses made from clear glass, and found out that this sour smell sticks to my fingers.
Can anyone explain if this smell is *Natural* for the amber glass bottles?
What are these bottles made of?
Can this smell affect or harm the remedies?
Thanks in advance.
