aversion to drinking water

Hi Rosemary,
Thanks for this - I've been trying to understand it for years. My
daughter's issue was always around the taste in the way that you
describe. She would drink cordials and fruit juices without argument -
(has that 'sugar equals love' ethos very strongly) - my other children
and I, would drink the same water that she hated and not understand
what she was talking about.
I think my trying to get this symptom sorted out has to do with my
sense that it is unusual and potentially a 'peculiar' inidividualising
symptom - I know it makes sense that it's about the taste - but it is a
particular minority group of people who have this oversensitivity to
the taste.
Gail.
