traumas and designers again

dear all, what a wonderful discussion this continues to be. i wanted to add
some more to my postings earlier about traumas/wounds that can be the
underlying causes of such "designer" (where did this term come from? i
don't like it) behavior or really of any behavior: some may be conscious
and others may be still unconscious. they could have resulted from watching
someone else be abused - parent or sibling or during war many others. when
i see the burkas, i am traumatized. and there are plenty of examples in the
usa of the women hating that the burka represents (the bikini, e.g - the
flip side of the coin of the burka; the ubiquitous women underwear ads).
when i read that three men in saudi arabia are beheaded because of their
homosexuality, i am traumatized. the woundstraumas can also be a direct
result of war, torture, poverty, racism, sexism, misogyny, the burka,
clitorodectomy, bride burnings, homophobia, etc. and they could certainly
come later in life -e.g., the death of a child; horrible, tragic death of a
parent or other caregiver, relative or friend; the rape of the planet...
