Hi Pauline-
I treated 2 cases -
long back - both responded very well to homeopathy-
The first case got Nux mos- drowsiness with faint feeling, the
patient had extreme dryness but no thirst - cured with Nux mos alone-
The second one had extreme day time sleepiness but had disturbed
night time sleep- somnambulism - young boy in early teens, ( his
brother elder had something similar, very occasionally but became
aright of own accord ) - Artemisia v. 200 3 doses cured... Later on
the boy needed Silicea for other reasons...
Gave Indol for another person for similar sleepiness- never heard
from him again - may be put him to sleep ... ( Indol has very good
narcoleptic treatment potential - sleepiness, vivid dreams etc).
There are very good medicines in Homeopathy and I think most of the
cases would respond to homeopathy...
Gelsemium, Nux.mos, Nux.vom, Cocculus, Calc.p, Tabacum, Cimex and a
host of others should be effective.
But get the concomitants... in this, as in most of the prescriptions
for other conditions, concomitants hold the key...
Symptoms not connected with the main symptom sometimes decide the
remedy...

with this? I am always of the opinion if you find the right remedy
most things are able to be helped if not cured? but was wondering if
anyone els out there has treated it - had any success treating it?
any tips/hints for treating it? Have found rubrics for it so presume
it has been treated before. Havent a case yet so cant define any
single remedies that may come up yet. Again thanks in advance.Pauline
