glad that I asked you to tell us this information. We all benefit from it.
and N.D.s have their own, but before NBHE, there was no organization to
certify D.C.s and acupuncturists...except the CHC (Council on Homeopathic
Certification), which certifies EVERYONE (both licensed and unlicensed
practitioners).

discussion on THIS topic.
certifying agencies, and I think that the general public will benefit from
knowing that there is one leading certifying source rather than many.
unlicensed practitioners and because they have broad support from the
homeopathic community already, I suggest that you consider an active
collaboration...or possibly, becoming a part of them. You don't have to
reinvent the wheel.

Not exactly.
They do not cater for veterinary homeopaths for example, last I looked
(at which point their website was also some years out of date - not very
encouraging!)

Nor do they explain what they do with the "annual" fees they charge.
Most people want value for money!
A certifying body should be just that - not a profit center or having
some other activity that uses funds for anything other than the basic
cost of certification.
(Any other ideas should be funded separately.)

I've asked to hear more on this - about how CHC works and what they do
with all the fees - and how they certify vethoms - I've asked on other
lists but never had an answer - perhaps here will be different?

Last I looked they were not testing what competence level was reached so
much as looking for "credit hours" without regard to competence.
I hope my concerns can be addressed - either by someone from CHC - or
someone who knows how CHC operates?
