NBHE Homeopathic Board? Is it really necessary?

Apologies, I came late to this discussion - have been busy getting the word out about S1082 etc.
Yes, Dana is an activist, there are many of us, myself included, helping to keep the flame of homeopathy burning for the last few decades. The fact of the matter is - homeopathy directly challenges the status quo of medicine and not everyone will be happy about that. By definition, 'politics' are involved. I just finished an article for Homeopathy Today which lays out the issues we are currently facing using the example in the UK to illustrate them - we have never faced a more powerful opposition.
The stakes are very high - the pharmaceutical industry is the most powerful corporate entity in the world today and they take their profit and power from dis-ease not wellness. And that's the harsh fact we need to keep in mind.
As we get closer to validation it's obvious this will happen - but imho it still needs to be addressed. Not by fighting against it - but by keep reiterating our benefits and moblizing grass-roots support for what we do and using Congress etc when we can to oppose legislation that threatens our work, like S1082.
Many of us are making personal sacrifices to do this work - all of us do it from a passion for homeopathy and speaking personally, from a firm belief that homeopathy will become main stream medicine in my lifetime.
It serves none of us to get involved in in-fighting - we don't have the time or the energy. Yes we would all love to just 'get on with the healing' but unfortunately at this point in our history we need to also be focused outside as well.
