[off-topic] low blood pressure questions

Trader Joe’s (and no doubt lots of others) sell little, one-a-day tablets of B6-B12-Folic Acid at a very reasonable price. I think it is better not to take any two of those without the other, so I surely am glad they are available together now. B12 is not absorbed through the gut apparently but through mucous membranes (per these tablets) it is. Anyone know any drawbacks from these? Teresa (Northern VA USA)

Thanks Shannon.
Yes, adrenal exhaustion has been diagnosed for me at least since 1982
I have quite a good diet, based on fresh organic foods (w/very little
meat) for the last 30 yrs.
I recently gave up all purine foods AND salt as they agg my sx.
There is not much left for me to eat!
(I have been eating sprouts for protein.)

I wonder if I took B12 and foliate if it would help my body digest
purine.
It is almost as if I have gout but w/o the swelling.
Possibly my using the cell salts keeps the swelling & most of the
pain down but not the stiffness.
I wonder how the salts affect blood tests.
My RBC are slightly low, MCH slightly high, urea nitrogen is at the
top level, sed rate high (58), immunoglobulin E very high (163). I
wanted the doc to do an iron test but he would not.
Thanks again for your input.
Best regards,
Lynn, NYC

PS. Giving blood in order to reduce blood iron level shows the blood-
letting of the past in a different light.

Any time B12 is dried/compressed into tablet form - it is useless. Try to get the liquid sublingual. The rest of the Bs seem to be absorbable to some degree in the tablets (make sure they are not coated). I recommend capsules rather than tablets.

The ones I was referring to are sublingual; no coating and very soft. Melt immediately under the tongue. They are red in color; I used to get B12 shots and those were also red. Anyone know a reason? Just curious. Teresa (Northern VA, USA)
