Alzheimers, was Healing after a stroke

Tanya,
Anecdotally, my 85 year old grandmother is being treated with a constitutional remedy, (Nat Sulph) with amazing results. She was diagnosed with Alzheimers almost two years ago. She was spending most days in bed, in the fetal position, not wanting to shower, eat, or participate. She did not know many people's names (mine or my children's) or what day it was. She was mostly incontinent. My extended family is leary of homeopathy and so would not give a remedy. She was on Aricept (Alzheimer's meds), a daily aspirin, an antidepressent, and quinine for leg cramps which she has taken for years. A change in circumstances brought her near me and she was able to take a remedy.
Before the remedy, we took her off the aspirin and quinine as both are contraindicated to Aricept (and the doctor never said anything!). Additionally, quinine was practically banned by the FDA because of the deaths it has caused. (She was taking the daily aspirin because my grandfather had told her to, not at her doctor's request.) She was still on the Aricept and antidepressant when she started the remedy. After her first dose (30c in water, 1 tsp) in early February, she got a "case of the giggles" and was laughing and happy. She got up and asked if there were chores she could do. She did the dishes and folded the laundry! The next day she showered (something that was hard to get her to do before) and came out fully dressed asking what was planned for the day! The second dose brought more laughing and an amelioration of symptoms. Within a month, she knew everyone's names and was going out and about with my mother every day all over the place! She began doing the daily crossword puzzles again and telling stories from her childhood.
She was weaned off the antidepressant as she did not want to be taking any medications and clearly was not depressed. She was off the Aricept for one week (in which time she improved even more!) however the extended family found out and were furious and insisted she be put back on it so my mother did. There was a decline in her memory and capacities when she was put back on it, but the dose was cut back to half and it evened out. Further dosing of the remedy has brought her back around and she now appears as she did about 10 years ago! Certainly she would not be diagnosed as Alzheimers. Of course, some family members think it's from the Aricept but she was no better after 6 months on the Aricept and I believe it was causing the incontinence. They also do not know she is still taking the remedy or as they referred to it, "the black magic."
She had only one setback after eating food cooked with MSG. She couldn't remember things and was confused and called people by the wrong names. It took about 2 days to bounce back to normal.
It's still too early I suppose to say what the final outcome is but for now we are enjoying having her back! And she is more talkative than she ever was before, telling us all kinds of fun stories about her youth. In the past she was very reserved about that kind of stuff.
I hope that is helpful.
Truly,
Erica
