Friends,
Without getting into the details of the connection between homeopathy and Beethoven (which will be revealed in my forthcoming book...see www.HomeopathicRevolution.com for details), I am wondering if anyone out there happens to have the Complete Set of Music by Beethoven.
Please let me know personally if you happen to have it and can find:
-- WoO 189 Canon in 2 parts in C major ("Ich war hier, Doktor" – “I am here, Doctor.”).
and
-- 4-part Canon in C major: "Doktor, sperrt das Tor dem Tod"

Hi Dana,
I do not have the Beethoven works referred to, am just very curious:-))
But you may have the numbers confused:
What I know is that WoO stands for un-numbered works or "Works without
Opus". But the currently used numbers such as the 189 here were set up by:
Georg Kinsky & Hans Halm, Das Werk Beethovens and is kind of considered
the authoritative numbering of the un-bnnumbered ones. Published in:
Thematisch-bibliographisches Verzeichnis seiner sämtlichen vollendeten
Kompositionen, Munich, 1955.
You likely know all that.

Numbers 159 onwards for 48 numbers refer to 48 canons for 3 to 6 voices
with words by various authors, composed approx 1795-1826, interestingly
the period during which Hahnemann's homeopathy was being developed.

However I believe you have the two items confused perhaps.
The WoO 189 is the Canon in 4 parts in C major ("Doktor sperrt das Tor
dem Tod"), Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven
with Heidi Person, Ulrike Helzel, Peter Maus, Ralf Lukas
..... and not "Ich war hier, Doktor" which you list as WoO 189

WoO 190 is the Canon in 2 parts in C major "Ich war hier, Doktor",
Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven
with Joachim Vogt, Gunther Beyer

I know they are part of Volume 18 of the complete works. Perhaps that
will help you find a copy. Sorry I do not have the music. (My music days
were a LONG tie ago:-)))

Have you tried places like half.com, amazon, etc.
But of course try Music departments of universities first?

NAmaste,
Irene.
