Wet FIP with prednisone damage.

Dear Joy,
You seem to have misread my emails as you are making assumptions not
validated in my emails and condemning me for things that are not true:-))

It IS the simillimum - properly repertorized - that has restored health
in EVERY case of FIP. However just as food is also part of healing, so
may other EXTRAS be necessary - in this case to buy the TIME needed for
the simillimum to work.
Hahnemann had no FIP cases for me to learn from. I have to do
pioneering work and am seeing results doing it.
However there was never any question of failing to find and use the
simillimum - not in any chronic case I take - whether FIP or anything
else - and nor did I suggest it in any email I wrote!
Joy, you often miss that the answer was already in the emails I wrote -
you sometimes miss the points I make - such as the one that a simillimum
is always repertorized in my FIP cases:-))

Bottom line is that I care about cat health and longevity - it has been
my life's work just as homeopathy was Hahnemann's life's work - and that
I AM making progress in increasing that health and longevity.

Hahnemann also had criticism for his life's work, as I apparently need
to get for mine. It's a good thing - as criticism makes one think and
ensures that principles are well founded and valid. Results count too -
Hahnemann had them and I am getting some - and someone has to do the
pioneering work - just as Hahnemann did in his area of expertise till
the day he died - and which I AM using as the main part of mine.

Hahnemann did NOT have to work with cases of fast disease suppressed by
prednisone. Maybe if he did he'd have experimented enough to find an
answer to it. But I DO have that to contend with and I DO wish to find
an answer, and so far I am slowly gaining ground in terms of successes.
AS to how many homeopaths tried how many simillimiums in a FIP case
with pred present - I am unable to find ONE successful case using
simillimum alone. Not one. Must I let the cats all die because my
approach was developed after Hahnemann died and only something he
developed is valid?

I do not see it that way - I use ALL that Hahnemann taught - PLUS a few
new additions that use some principles he and others since then, have
developed. There's a lot of research behind sarcodes - enough to know
that the use I make of them is not dangerous and therefore is worth a
try in an otherwise "dead cat situation due to simillimum not being enough".

The additions to the simillimum were not guesswork on my part even
though they were not invented by Hahnemann. They do not replace the
simillimum either - they merely ADD a factor to buy time. Time for the
simillimum to do its job. The problem with FIP is that a simillimum only
works on live cats - not dead ones. So I need the cat live long enough
to allow a VERY weak life force to use a remedy. It will take a high
potency remedy to cure such a strong disease - but the cats I get have
too weak a life force for a high potency - and they die on a low
potency. So I use things to extend life long enough so that the
simillimum can start low potency and gradually be increased till it is
high enough potency - and this time is also used to build up the life
force to be strong enough for that necessary high potency to cure - so
that it can work by the proper simillimum method of a high potency for a
strong disease.

By formal Hahnemann methods I could just say "There is not enough life
force to beat this strong disease" and let the cat die. That would be
Hahnemann rules if one looks at it too classically.
I don't like just letting cats die because in theory there is not enough
life force to help them live. That historically has been the result with
homeopathy and FIP especially with pred present.

It's onml;y after I realized the problem - the weak life force combined
with powerful fast disease - that I realized I had to pre-empt the FIP
damage for one thing ( using rubrics not there yet that would get there
in a day or so) and I ALSO had to find a way to keep the cat alive and
restore the organs (thymus) that drugs had destroyed and witohut which
even homeopathy can not effect a good result.
None of that pred damage was there in H's day:-))
In cases with no pred damage - I do not use any extras like sarcodes and
pred 30C, I don't need them. The thymus is there and able to respond
fast enough to simillimum - as in H's time.

I do not want cats to die after pred.
It's not like FIP happens in old cats who already "had a life". It
mainly occurs in kittens - it happens after many vaccines and drugs as
are used at most shelters and changes of address. So I am presented with
a dying kitten with practically no life force left - and a disease that
is the strongest I've had to work with yet - and an immune system so
damaged that it is good as missing. There is nothing for the simillimum
to work with - not fast enough.

Ordinary homeopathy alone has never helped these cases Joy. It NEEDS
a way to buy time, and also a way to repair the damaged thymus after
prednisone has blown it away.
I'm working hard to find the answer to this and have been getting
small but increasing success where there was zero success in the past.

(I changed the subject line).

Namaste,
Irene

Hi Irene,

Have you observed whether other animals are similarly sensitive to
prednisone as cats?

Hi Shannon,
All mammals are damaged significantly by prednisone - in that the
thymus is destroyed by it and the thymus is the organ most relevant to
defence against chronic disease. (Soy and vacccines also destroy thymus.)

Whether cats are worse than other species in the damage effects of
pred I can not prove, but it is a fact that cats have a lot less ability
to detoxify substances in general than other mammals - with dogs not far
behind.
Cats (small cats only) are designed as solo predators and their
metabolic systems are super-simplistic to keep the weight they have to
carry as solo predators with a need to pounce fast to survive, to an
absolute minimum. They do not lug about any detox equipment at all.
So things that are safe for babies are often toxic to cats (sodium
benzoate baby food preservative for example and onions, garlic, and many
herbs - and even the enzymes on raw meat that is older then a couple
hours after slaughter.)

But I have not seen research to compare effect of Pred on cats versus
dogs or people for example to show exactly which has more hassle. It
would be hard to separate it from the vaccine damage that is so
universal in cats without a specific research project on unvaccinated
SPF cats.

As to my own observations - I've seen more pred damage and difficulty to
restore health in cats than other mammals - but whether it's because
vets toss pred at cats more often or whether the pred is more damaging -
I do not know.

Not a great answer - but best I can do at the moment :-))
