Poor Kent, Hering and Lippe! Who never got the simillimum!! and We
follow their foot steps!!!

It makes one wonder -putting all of the above points together -if
those prescribers who prescribe / prescribed Centesimal potencies, dry
doses, uncounted globules ( or even if counted - pilules of various
sizes 10, 20 or 30) never got the simillimum even if the symptoms are
covered?

And think about all the homeopathic greats of the past who toiled with
dry doses and never were able to get the simillimum ( since
centesimals, decimals would not be considered right potencies and
they are out of luck on 2 points - potency and dose)!!!

And I wish that Hahnemann lived a few more years so that he would have
experimented more and brought out HRFM ( Hahnemann's Revolutionary
Final Millesimal) - made with 250 turns clockwise strokes, 250 turns
counter clockwise, 250 strokes back and forth with a tiny crowbar made
of equal parts iron and platinum and finally insert and withdraw the
crowbar ( into the medicine, not the patient) 500 times - so that
there is no aggravation even if the patient drinks a whole bucket ).
It should be diluted with 50% water and 50% of 90%alcohol and the
minimum dose is nothing less than 250 ml. And the doctor should make
sure that the patient does not ride carriages till the speedy cure is
effected.

And the edition carrying this HFM should have been published many
years after 6th edition because Melanie wrote in her Will that only a
descendant of hers with 3 nostrils has the legal rights to open the
shelf and bring forth this wonder out. This edition will proclaim that
all people who practice with Centesimal, Decimal and LM potencies can
rightly be called mongrels or at least idiots( because they are
working against the vital force by not giving the right potency and
the right dose) and hence forth cannot call themselves Homeopaths and
cannot sleep lying down with theirs heads towards Paris.

Oh Come on Sheri- I am not against LM or the 6th edition - only
looking at the consequences of defining simillimum in the way it has
been done.... and I can see perfectly with my glasses on...

Is there anything wrong with my conclusions from what is written?

For the rest of the stuff - it is the tickling of my funny
bone....just laugh or grimace and forget it...

4th ed. prescriber will not be doing terrible things to their patients.

I would MUCH rather work with a well-trained 4th ed prescriber than
with an inadequately trained 5th/6th ed prescriber. Absolutely, and
without question. The *broader* training is what is more
important--taking the case; analysis; what to do next; knowledge of
remedies, knowledge of "diseases", understanding the meaning of
response to remedy. All of those things, IMO absolutely FAR outweigh
the difference between 4th ed versus 5th/6th ed prescribers. Sheri, I
gather you do not agree with that, and I'm kind of fascinated and kind
of curious about why... But it's probably one of those things were
people's differing past experiences will simply lead them/us to
different conclusions.

More people need more of those bones:-)

My initial training in homeopathy (1984) was all dry dose and D and C
potencies. I learned from someone who learned from her father and he
from his, and so on for untold generations - my cousin. She inherited
all the wonderful tomes of homeopathy books - quite a library of treasures.
The cases in the margins alone would be an awesome education in
homeopathy .....though I suspect they may have faced Paris at some point
during sleep and invalidated the whole lot........

My cousin and family seemed to NEVER be ill. I asked how, and was told
homeopathy and Schuessler salts. Her hubby used to be paralysed badly
due to polio as a child - but was hale and hearty when I met him. She
said that apart from having been brought up on (dry dose) homeopathy and
minus allopathy, the secret was Schuessler salts.... one a day for a
week, then the next one daily for a week, and so on cycling every 12 weeks.
Her daughters had absorbed more homeopathy by osmosis at age ten to
twelve than I'd learned after considerable study. Sorry I started really
late in life. Seeing kids running inside for a tube of calendula cream
for a severe graze or to put a burn under the hot water tap to fix it or
hearing - "Mom we're out of tarent-c, where did you put the Belladonna,
the cat has an abscess" and so on without having to think about it, was
quite something.
Must be nice to know enough homeopathy, early on enough to bring up
the kids with it. Dry or wet!
