Hello Sheri,
Can a human pass HPV to an animal (ie a dog, my friend's dog is at the vet now and she's being told that her dog may have HPV, and my friend is beside herself that she may have given it to her dog). I'm trying to get her to contact a classical homeopath.

Wow, the vet has an active imagination... Dogs have their own sets of viruses and lots of expression through skin with various growths. I'd say the only way she might have given it to her dog is with lousy treatment, lots of vaccines, and ignorance of how chronic disease works. Dogs also have a very strong instinct to mirror the health issues of their caretakers on an energetic level, so the dog may have picked up on the issue, especially if the owner is distressed about her own condition. She needs that homeopath! And, of course, it matters not at all from whence the dog's symptoms "came", anyway.

I have an active imagination, too:)

There are now three known types of CPV = canine pappiloma virus however.
Each is distinct.
Pappiloma virus strains are identified by the sequence of the L1 gene of
the pappiloma virus.
The discovery of a third CPV is very recent. Till then we knew of two,
but in any case they are canine - not human.
There is no zoonosis expected or documented between HPV and CPV.
It is rare for a virus to jump species!
