Hi Irene, others,
This thread made me recall the case of a friend with the opposite
problem.
Some years ago she told me:
When she was 39 or so she had an operation. A benign tumor was
removed from her right ovary, the ovary itself was not removed (this
is what the surgeon told her).
After this operation the pubic hair that was shaved off for the OP
never grew back, also not the hair in her axilla and on the legs. When
she told me about it the operation had been more than 20 years before.
This has kept puzzling me. Any ideas?
