I dont see anything Non-scientific here. I see someone trying to protect his work (using a wrong way though...). On the contrary, i see someone accepring someone else' s theories and opinions.
Your saying that he agreed to Boenninghausen also contradics this phrase of yours: "was not based on

I dont know about you, but i cannot call them scientists. At the end of the day, a person who has never tried chocolate in his life, should not say that he doesnt like chocolate.
I will visit Stuttgard. As i see on the German map, cologn is relatively close. How many km distance between Cologn and Stuttgard?

allow;-)

There are indeed approaches to high potencies (IMO) from the sciences
that work with ultra-high dilutions kind of thing - there was on
then-Lyghtforce List a chemical engineer who worked in the field and
posted about it - sorry to say she stopped posting because she could
not stomach the mobbings - but they have not yet seen any connections
to the high-potency problem, although Avogadro's number may not
relevant to what they found either.

Well, with me it is more simple: I am ready to discuss any way as long
as it is the topics that are attacked. Attack my opinion - fine, as
long as you give reasons. Attack me - and the discussiion is closed.

I try to discuss that way myself - I think most of the time I succeed.
Where not, it is again not intention but inadequacy on my part:-)

I hope many posters follow your example - I sometimes find it very
hard to sort the posts myself.

what I found out in many hours of reading and researching, so the
statements will necessarily be imprecise.

Yes, it seems that v. Boenninghausen was the ONE person whose methods
he accepted or did for one reason or other not attack. I suppose
no-one on this list except perhaps you, is interested in my backups of
this, which would necessarily be long. I may one day write an article
on it - but it would be in German I found quite a sizeable minority of
homeopaths on the German-language list who are interested in my
published work on v. Boenninghausen and none on the English-speaking
lists where I introduced it - so I am not going to spend my time on
translating my German publications into English any longer.

If the homeopathy need to see Hahnemann and v. B. surrounded by a aura
of perfection and holyness I do not feel it is my calling to
change that:-) (This is why I do not anser Chris Gillen's post)

Yes, I go along with common useage of the word and call them
scientist, as they call themselves - just as I call those people
homeopaths who commonly are called thus and who call themselves so.

I hope you will visit the "Insitute of the History of Medicine" of the
Robert Bosch Foundation ( Short IGM Bosch) in Stuttgart while you are
there.

It is worth even a short visit, even more so a longer. I stayed there
for a month 2 years ago, and even that was too short (for me).

The people there, starting with the students working there up to Prof.
Juette, the head, are very nice - pleasant, competent and helpful.

As to consultation: I no longer practice and when I did, my main
method was TCM (the acupuncture part). Most of what I know of
homeopathy I learned after retiring, by taking up studying again - so
it is theory, not hardened by much practice. So this would not be
worth your effort - although I would not charge anything:-)

I do, however, know a homeopath who, by what I know about him, should
be excellent -- very classical but without any blinkers. Probably
close to what I call a true scientist. I do not know what he charges -
but if you are interested I can get you in touch with or
point to more information about him.
