Good Use of Research and your noodles

The way scientists and medical research are being lambasted by
homeopaths ( of all people) is laughable. We practice a system of
medicine - nobody knows how it works, nobody knows what really happens
when a medicine is given, nobody knows what happens in high ( and even
low) dilutions, nobody knows why something works when it does and why
another one does not work when it does not, nobody even knows where
homeopathy ends and meaninglessness starts and we need to gather
together and mock other systems and find fault with them? Come on - is
that the "sour grapes" talking?
even if we were to prove that Homeopathy works on a human body we need
to employ "scientists" to do that- with "our" vested interests- who
would work for the "homoepathic conglomerates"...
We have umpteen things to clarify within ourselves even before we can
point at others...First decide upon what we call as a Chronic miasm -
you do not even have to prove it "scientifically" - since you do not
believe in scientists- first try to explain that and get consensus
among homeopathic group without each one saying what it is in his /
her own way... also Is LM good? Are C potencies good? Dry or Watery?
6th edition or 4th edition? Tubercular miasm or pseudo psora? Psora is
-all infection or some infection or no infection or toxins or lack of
nutrition or "the original sin" or "fall from heaven" or "fallen from
the oven"? Heck - we even accept 'prescribing using the periodic
table" and using Irene's analogy - if accepting AIDS and its virus
etiology needs a pinch of salt, we would require bucket loads of salt
for some of the things we as homeopaths espouse...
People seem to be getting confused between pharmaceutical marketing
forces and research. I agree that a lot of research is tainted
consciously or unconsciously by money play- does not mean that all
that research finding should be thrown out or becomes meaningless...
are you throwing out your repertories because someone found a remedy
by pendulum and not by using a repertory? When you throw in a lot of
money ( like billions of dollars) into something it is a business we
are talking about. Yes any business wants to save itself and make
money out of anything possible.. it is common whether it is a
multinational behemoth, the Mercolas of the world or the homeopathic
pharmacies and even homeopathic doctors peddling whatever "delusions"
in the lecture circuit... ( Ok in the lecture circuit it might be -
who can be ushered in as the "Samuel the Second" - or the "Holy Spirit
of Homeopathy" and not just money power)
Does not mean that research is 100% unreliable and untrustworthy -
No system of medicine can survive and dominate so much as allopathy is
doing just because it is being marketed aggressively- there is a need
in the society for something like this and it is fulfilling such a
need and that is the truth of it- the homeopathic approach to this is
not decrying it but really building up the societal immunity ( in fact
even the actual immunity of people) by doing good clinical work in a
socially acceptable and conscientious manner using common sense at
least, if not science - not by using negative slogans and prejudiced
comments...
