I chose an amount of soy to equalize the Tryptophan, and hence make all
other amino acids directly comparable in ratio. Just to name a few:
Threonine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine and most others others are double
or more in beef; Glycine is three times as much; Methionine, and Cystine
are 4 times as much in beef; Hydroxyproline is missing in soy.
However - Soy also has another adverse effect on mammals which makes it
an inadvisable food for most: Soy will skew the immune system to
overproduction of Th-2 cytokines (antibody-related) over TH-1 cytokines
(chronic disease resistance related).
You especially see the severe consequences of this when humans try
to be vegetarian (especially those who are type O blood as they are more
badly affected by soy). These people get Th-2 skewed diseases from the
Th-2 skewed immune system that predisposes TH-2 diseases. So you see
allergies, arthritis, fibromyalgia, obesity with insulin resistance,
gastric disturbances, and the list goes on.
In our society Th-2 skewed immune systems are practically standard after
all the vaccines forced on the population - so why add soy to make it worse?
