Dear all,
What's "the" rem (or rems) that causes ingested small foreign objects to
wiggle themselves out through the skin? What, please, might be some
rubrics? Many thanks. Margaret in Boston

Here's what I have. Different potencies depending on the author.
I just suggested Silica it to someone who had a large splinter lodged
under the finger nail. All she had was Silica 200c, she put it in
water, took one teaspoon, and the splinter slid out by the next day
as she massaged her finger. I also suggested she soak the finger in
hat water with epsom salt. So was it the Silica or the hot soaks,
don't know, but she's happy it's out
SILICA 9c:
The "homeopathic surgeon,"
promotes expulsion of pus, splinters, glass, fish bones, nettles,
needles, thorns, bullets etc
--------
Silicea is also known to promote suppuration.
Give in high potency (1M) where you want the body to absorb, or low potency
(30C) where you want the body to discharge
---------------------
If the high potency Silica is not effective, the lower potencies like
6c might be better.
I often use a lower potency first in extraction of the foreign
objects. Perhaps, the broad banded nature of the lower potencies is
such that it works on this mechanical condition in most people. The
high potency are like lasers in that their symptoms and powers are
extremely concentrated.
I have used both 6x to 6c many times

Myristica sebifera
The Homeopathic Lancet by Dr. R. Mehram
Myristica is the "homeopathic lancet" that could open a ripe abscess.
If not yet ripe enough, consider Hepar sulph.
It is more powerful than Hepar sulph. or Silica
Myristica acts well in 3x and 6x potencies, given every 3 hours.
Hepar sulfur and Silicea should be given in 200c potency.
Peace,
Lynn

But "ingested"??? Margaret, do you really mean expulsion thru the skin
of something that was *swallowed*? That I have never heard of!
