Transverse myelitis

I realize that in CH we don't label diseases, but I am inquiring about a
friend of mine who came down with this disease very quickly (within hours)
in August last year. She is now quadriplegic and they are not holding out
much hope for her ever walking again or being able to use her hands in a
very nimble way (i.e. finger movement). I was wondering if this was an area
that homeopathy could help with and any links that might be helpful to give
her.

I certainly would try
What was going on in her life at the time or leading up to it - that often
is a huge clue; or toxic exposure; or receiving a vaccine or vaccines
within the months before; or what is her diet like; does she drink diet
sodas with aspartame; does she have a lot of mercury fillings in her mouth.

All this should be looked at and addresses as well as seeing a homeopath

I agree, homeopathy should certainly be tried. As Sheri says, if something specific caused this, then treating with a remedy that can cause a nerve-based paralysis from such a cause should be helpful.

Scholten would suggest looking particularly in the silver series of the periodic table for nerve-related pathologies. That provides one avenue to explore in looking for the remedy.
