Does anybody have experience with treating impotency and incontinence
after prostate cancer surgery? I know about Staphysagria and
Terebinthina. Any other ideas?

Dear Michael

There are lots of problems and concerns arising as an aftermath of Prostate
surgery.

We have the embarrassment problems with bladder control

Shock from the news

Sexual dysfunction
It is correct to think that men talk so much about SEX and that this is so
important for men regardless of age.
There may be a difference depending on the age of the man - is he 50, 60, or
70 plus, but sexuality has no age!

Anxiety about disease recurrence

Fears regarding their future – When will I die?

Anxiety about a physical health problem, fatigue and loss of strength.

(Especially after Chemo/Radiotherapy)

Sleep difficulties

Emotional and physical discomfort

Financial problems

Difficulties in returning to former roles

My recommendation is that the homoeopath should approach the patient as an
unprejudiced observer and sensitively and delicately open these issues in
turn and obtain the feelings/thoughts etc of the patient and form a totality
to be treated.
