Grand Old Homeopathy and Genetic Homeopathy

I just returned after a brief visit to India ( chennai) and met a few
of my friends in homeopathy….

I met Dr.Kopikkar ( he did not recognize me after about 12 years of
not seeing me) and he is somewhat demented. But he still has all his
homeopathic knowledge intact and still attending his clinic ( 71 years
as a homeopathic clinician) for 2 days a week- with a person literally
supporting him to his clinic and shouting the complaints of the
patients to him to make them audible- that is a long and dedicated
practice…. I urge members who have not already done so, to read his
book "Clinical experiences of 70 years in homeopathy"…much of the
short-sightedness of some posters here might change for the better…
Personally I rate him as THE best we have in Chennai (even including
A U Ramakrishnan).

One interesting development – I came across what is touted as genetic
homeopathy in Chennai ( any one else heard anything about this?).
These genetic "homeopathists" claim fundamental changes to the
constitution and combine about 30 or above medicines in each
prescription – 3 or 4 intestinal nosodes, many other nosodes and
metals and what not in a single prescription- Each prescription also
has RNA or DNA in potencies…
The fee is 10 times that of the average practitioner. I am told this
has only mediocre results…( I wonder how the patients ever survive)
but there is a lot of marketing behind it and is making one totally
unscrupulous practitioner a lot of dough-

More fodder for the ones calling homeopathy unscientific….

Yes when I was in Chennai with Dr AUR's Clinical practice in January some of
us bought remedies from a pharmacy in a mall whose name I can't remember.
Anyhow we were invited to the opening of a new homeopathic hospital. Dr AUR
looked into it and said that really we wouldn't want to know as they didn't
practice classical homeopathy but complex stuff. It definitely appeared that
there was a lot there that went by the name of homeopathy but wasn't!!

Yes it is the same group that opened a multi-specialty hospital-as I
mentioned marketing rakes in the money for that person and is
resulting in this hospital
