more on jellyfish stings

Do other people have more examples of jellyfish stings and experiences with t
hem. I'd be curious and will now have to look up stuff in the repetories as
I've had jellyfish stings and remember how I reacted.
Before I knew about homeopathy - I was down in Baja diving and my friend was
stung repeatedly by portugese man o war - it got caught in his longer hair.
He was in serious pain and we were hours and hours from any towns. I spoke
spanish and went in search of someone down the beach - found a fisherman with
his family who happened to have a watermelon with them and he grabbed the
watermelon and smeared that on the stings - worked almost immediately. The diver
wanted to go back out diving that afternoon and no ill affects.
I'm not saying it is to replace appropriate remedies but it worked for this
one individual and is something to store away in case you are at the beach
with no remedies.
