Hello minutus,
Firstly, thanks so much for the dedication of the people who
regularly contribute to this list. I have appreciated your knowledge
and experience the last couple of years. This is my first post.

A student midwife was asking me about alternatives to treating
pregnant women with positive results for group B strep. I gave her
an explanation of the classical approach ie. not treating test
results but symptoms etc.

I'm looking into this further and I have found a couple of internet
references to specific homeopathic treatment. One was a
recommendation to give thuja ??? The other is a protocol to give
SanPharma Notatum (Penicillium notatum), 10 Caps, 4X, taken every
other day noting that the regimen should be completed a week before
being tested.

Can anyone share their experience on how they deal with this issue?
Has anyone used the nosode? or other natural substances? It seems
that so few babies get afflicted with the GBS but the antibiotics are
pushed v. strongly.
