declare to you that I will raise my voice to its utmost, and will, by means
of the public press, warn a world already weary of deceit against such
treachery and shameful degeneracy which deserves to be branded and avoided.

Dear Minimus,

Although modern orthodox medicine has made marvelous advances in
medical technology, surgery, emergency treatment and life support systems,
its over all medical philosophy has changed little in modern times. The
allopathic school continues to use Galen's "Opposite cures Opposites" and
Dioscorides one-sided diseases categories and drug actions as major
therapeutic models. This includes the use of relaxant anti-spasmodics for
spasms, stimulants for depression, anti-acids for acid indigestion,
purgatives for constipation, sedatives for insomnia and opiates for pain
etc., etc. For the most part, the orthodox school still is very
mechanistic, materialistic, and reductionist in view. Over standardization
is the norm and patients are seen in an assembly line fashion rather being
seen as individuals who have special needs.The abuse of antibiotics has
weakened many and led to new resistant powerful strains of microorganisms
that Nature would have never created on its own. Some vaccinations have
proved ineffective, toxic and prone to side effects. All of these methods
are potentially suppressive, toxic and can have serious side effects.

The Cartesian model is still very much in vogue in modern medicine as
the mind and body are usually treated as separate entities and the body is
treated like a mechanical-chemical machine rather than a dynamic synergy of
forces. Each so-called disease is considered a separate affection many of
which requires a "specialist". Very few modern doctors look at the whole
picture, which includes the complete mind-vital force-body matrix. The skin
is considered one problem and the liver and bowels another problem with no
connection to the patient as a whole. Such a non integrative view often
leads to the suppression of local symptoms and the metastasis of the
disease to more serious complaints.

Modern medicine is still looking for the Tolle Causam in the final
failure of an local organ, tissue or system rather then understanding that
these pathological ultimates are usually the final symptoms of a more
dynamic underlying cause. The iatrochemical concept is still central to
orthodox medicine as it relies mostly on chemical control rather than
dynamic harmonies. The idea of non chemical medicine is beyond their grasp
yet energy healing will become part of the medicine of the future. Many of
these chemical agents are well known for their side effects. At least 1/3
of persons who go for treatment suffer serious side effects of the
medicines they are taking by their own accounts. Very high rates of side
effects are considered acceptable because they have no alternative. The
true % if side effects is much higher when one understands the suppression
syndrome.

There is a great number of questionable and unnecessary
operations. Skin lesions and growths are routinely removed without any
attempt to cure them constitutionally with internal medicine. Tonsils have
been removed as if they play no real role in health. Ear tubes are inserted
in children instead of the underlying catarrhal problems being addressed.
Why is it that such a great number of women in the USA have had full
hysterectomies when in countries like France there are only a few? Male
babies are tided down in circumcision chairs with no anesthetics and have
their foreskins cut off while they shriek with pain and fright. Do this to
anyone but a baby and it is called torture.This is an ancient rite that has
little if any hygienic reasons and is certainly obsolete today. Millions
and millions of uncircumcised males have been living very happy and healthy
in Asia for millennia.

Until the philosophical view and direction of research is changed
orthodox medicine will still be subject to the same faults it has suffered
since they forgot about Hippocrates and ignored Hahnemann. To think that
what Hahnemann said about orthodox medicine in the 19th century has nothing
to do with modern medicine is not in touch with reality. Oh yes, the
orthodox school has changed on the surface and looks very clean but the
inner mentality and gut level approach has not changed as much as some
think! Most of what Hahnemann says in the Introduction to the Organon and
the Chronic Diseases is still valid, especially when it comes orthodox
philosophy, the direction of research and practice, and the side effects of
improper treatment.

Now this said - even Hahnemann pointed out that in cases where the
vital force has no time to react allopathic methods may be necessary. His
examples are medical emergencies. There is no doubt that emergency medicine
has advanced greatly in modern times and some of the surgical and
reconstructive work is marvelous. Even some of the medicines increase the
quality of life, which can be very important to a patient. In ancient
Greece there were two schools of medicine the surgical and materia medica.
Modern medicine is the inheritors of the surgical school and emergency
remedies and Homoeopathy is the inheritor of the school of materia medica
and the treatment of acute and chronic diseases. One never knows when they
might need the services of allopathic school so it is best not to get to
egotistical as their is still a need for the surgical-chemical school.
Nevertheless, their is a great need for serious reforms in orthodox medicine.

There are doctors who see problems in the stasis quo but the
medical-industrial complex is so strong and profit oriented that serious
reforms are rare. Until orthodox medicine understands more about the
constitutional nature of the disease and that a human being is a dynamic
organism with spirit, principle, force and energy, the direction of
research and practice will not change all that much. This is because most
orthodox doctors still think like Galen instead Hippocrates. Radical
intervention, opposites cure opposites, and chemical control still form the
basis of the orthodox school of medicine. The idea of Nature curing by
vital powers has been lost and the human being is treated like
mechanical-chemical machines. This mistaken theoretical hypothesis and the
direction of its therapeutic counterparts has changed little since the
Galen's Roman-Greco school. It is time that modern medicine returned to
its true foundation in Asclepius and Hippocrates and begin to respect
Physis once again.
