head banging

Hello everyone

I have already prescribed an initial remedy but

would appreciate extra input if anyone can suggest remedies that have an association with headbanging, no speech and refusal to eat [except textured foods i.e. kentucky fried chicken coating] in small boy labelled as ADHA/autistic. he is very restless

according to mother reacted to be worse after an MMR and thuja homepathic was given by another practitioner. [possibly it was needed but dose may not have been suitable] headbanging started badly after that - worse than previous and total cessation of eating ensued whereas he was previously eating vegetables.

wakes 2-6 times a night wanting a bottle to comfort him. age just under 3 years. all nutrients are given in fruit juice watered down.

other symptoms include
itchy anus- passed a black worm 2 weeks ago
wakes from afternoon sleep crying and headbanging and wanting cuddles.
conjunctavitis last week for first time

bites parents-
has eye contact

appears bright and can be playful- just runs around like little fast robot oblivious to mother's or anyone else's input. no reactivity to any disciplinary cues.

thanks
Beverly

Tub? But also look at:
Head, beats, his own head (apis, ars, con, hell, hyos, mag-c, mill,
prot, rhus-t, scut, stram, tarent, tub) and
Head, beats, his own head, against the bed: (apis, ars, con, hyos,
mill, prot, rhus-t, scut, stram, tarent, tub)

Can you say more about the biting--when does he tend to do it, and does
he appear either angry or playful or provoking, or ??

thanks shannon
biting is not playful - it is an irritation- doesn't like anyone to interfere with what he is doing so if they reach out to control him in any way he bites. Also bites his other brother.

You might want to look at Phos or Tub???? Obviously, Cina, Bell, Hyos and Stram are also thoughts, or even Carb-v, but you didn't mention strong modalities for them, except Cina (worms and irritability --??), which doesn't have the whole picture you gave. The fact that he's active and playful, and craves cuddling after a period of separation (nap) makes Phosphorus a possible consideration.

Interesting case -- please let us know how it develops. Thanks.
