Interestingly, just received today from another list for a totally
different issue - RBTI - body chemistry balancing & testing.....and then
remineralize the body -
Something I am learning and doing for myself and others to help the
terrain; help rid of maintaining causes; help the VF to strengthen through
balancing and remineralizing (determining what the body needs mineral-wise
without guessing)
There are no coincidences

Some years ago, Steve Soloman, the librarian at Soil and Health, allowed
me to post a short booklet that
dates back to the American "Civil" War.

Every once in a while I get so innudated with TV drug ads and just
ordinary talk with drug-using sick folks such that I almost forget that
drugs don't cure disease, they are a cause of it. When that happens, I
find it refreshing to re-ground myself by thumbing through Tilden's "True
Healing Art". You may find it worthwhile as well. If you do read it,
listen as you hear "RBTI!, RBTI!, RBTI!" sounding in the background.
Here are a few passages that really do tell it like it is:

There are, aside from accidents--mechanical injuries---but two sources
of disease in the world, namely poisons or impurities taken into the
system from without, and effete or waste matters retained. In either case
the result is obstruction. These extraneous particles are the causes of
disease, and, aside from mental impressions and bodily injuries, the only
causes.
So what is this mysterious thing, disease? Simply the effort to remove
obstructing material from the organic domain, and to repair damages.
Disease is a process of purification. It is remedial action. It is a vital
struggle to overcome obstructions and to keep the channels of the
circulation free. Should this struggle, this self-defensive action, this
remedial effort, this purifying process, this attempt at reparation, this
war for the integrity of the living domain, this contest against the

produce disease. Indeed, they cure one disease, when they cure at all, by
producing others. Can causes cure causes? Can poisons expel poisons? Can
impurities deterge away impurities? Can Nature throw off two or more
burdens more easily than one? No, never. Poisoning a person because he is
impure is like casting out devils through Beelzebub, the prince of devils.
It is neither Scriptural nor philosophical.

Medical schools and books teach that medicines--acids, alkalis, salts,
earths, minerals, more drugs--which are dead, inert and inorganic
substances, act on the living system. Nature teaches the contrary; that
the living system acts on the medicine.
(Oh, Lord---how true this is. Just give any miracle drug you wish to a
fresh corpse and see how much effect it has. OTOH, watch how a sick body
sucks up minerals identified by RBTI as needed. ...RH)

And herein is the explanation of the classes of medicines; the rationale
of the action of medicines, which has so puzzled the brains of medical
philosophers in all ages.
~Emetics do not act on the stomach, but are ejected by the stomach.
~Purgatives do not act on the bowels, but are expelled through the bowels.
~Diaphoretics, instead of acting on the skin, are sent off in that
direction.
~Diuretics do not act on the kidneys, but the poisonous drugs are got rid
of through that channel,
And so on
And this equally mysterious entity called disease! Is not its essential
nature sufficiently apparent? The disease is simply the process of getting
the poisons out of the system; and so this perplexing problem is also
solved.
