My rep gives only 8 M/E sxs (basically anxiety, delirium depression,
coma) for pilocarpus. Does anyone have other information about its
mental state?
Thanks,
Shannon

LOL, thanks! I wonder whether it doesn't produce much of a mental
picture, or whether it's just not known? There don't seem to be many
rubrics at *all* for it, which surprised me.

looks like most of them were in coma - right? They tried to tell
their symptoms but could not
(Most of these are poisoning symptoms. They do not look like
pathogenetic symptoms after potencies...)
I have prescribed this is a couple of hyperthyroid cases in 30c-
with excess sweat, anxiety and irritability. Mainly excess
secretions is the effect of the remedy.
It improved both of them significantly. So at least clinically I can
say that it had
" Anxiety with sweating ( how about Generalized Anxiety Disorder)
and Irritability with sweating / salivation."
I did not see much depression- ( masked?)

Here are the rubrics from RU and Synth for Jaborandi, which is Pilocarpus, which is not the same as the piloc that Rochelle found it seems, as the rubrics are different.

Yikes, it looks like "jaborandi" is applied to several trees...
Jaborandi is shown as "Jaborandi rutaceae";
Pilocarpus is shown as Pilocarpus pinnatus, tho also called a jaborandi
tree...

Robyn - you are correct.
Here is what I have from the mentals from Jaborandi in Vermuelen 2
MIND: Cheerfulness, gaiety, happiness # dullness [1/1]. Delusion that she will murder her family with a hatchet [1/1]. Dreams of accidents [1]; fights [1]. Desire
to kill loved ones [1].

Thanks Hahnemannian,
Do you have a sense of how lasting those effects were? It it brought a
lasting effect, and if you can recall other aspects of those patients'
M/E pictures, it could add to the scanty picture the present rubrics
give--do you recall anything there?
