Hi David,

thanks for this informative article.
You talked about the mineral temperament, I have the impression the minerals
belong more to the structure of the physical constitution and plant remedies
with their high level of vital energy, sensitivity and colourfulness to the
emotional temperament.
Of course we can't really separate them, but I've seen several times after a
'lifelong' mineral remedy this was followed by a plant remedy. In a typical
Sulphur patient, Bryonia came up etc. After that I realized it was always a
part of the picture, but it was on the background because the mineral state
dominated the person and did not allow this side of the person to manifest.
I explained this by thinking that the constitution and temperament need
different remedies. Sometimes the temperament dominates and at the end of
the treatment needs a complementary mineral, or the constitution dominates
and needs a complementary plant remedy.
Of course I do not mean this black or white, the temperament might as well
have affinity with an animal remedy.
Just some thoughts...
