I'm just wondering if anyone has had one or know of anyone who has.
I'm taking one next week and I guess I didn't realize that they inject
you with some type of "nuclear medicine". Does anyone know anything
about this or if there is an alternative. I got hurt at work a few
months ago and am going thru workman's comp and so far nothing has
been done-very slow. I have something wrong with my shoulder-dr. had
an mri of my spine, but not sure what is going to happen next. At
least it didn't show a pinched nerve He's been away on some
conventions. That's why it's taking so long. I hate insurance
companies. Any suggestions will be helpful.

So far as I know, Cardiac Stress Test should involve you walking/running on
a treadmill connected to various monitors. It should not involve any nuclear
medicine.

However, you may be talking about the Thallium Stress Test

Indeed, this will involve the injection of some nuclear material with a
short half life, but you will have to avoid hugging babies and going near
pregnant mums for about a day or 2.

i sympathize with you. i was in a small accident in june and seriously
injured
my knee. the insurance companies, of course, only want allopathic
assessment
and treatment. i finally went to a nurse practitioner that i know who would
work with me to some degree. i asked her to officially recommend protocols
such as physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, etc. i also
found
out the the insurance companies recognize osteopaths.. so i found one that
practices traditional energy work and waiting a month for an appointment.
it was
my first experience with a DO. many do's are allopaths in disguise, so you
need
to be careful who you see. this guy was very good and i feel he actually
helped.
after 3 tx with this guy, i purchased a deeper acting potency of a
homeopathic
rx that i thought would be helpful--and it was.

but do not let them inject any radiated material into your spine. it can
be
dangerous--even the injection itself can cause damage to the nerve tissue.
