Light and Dark

Dear all,
How can we differentiate between "Aversion to Dark", "Fear of Dark", "Aggravation from Dark", "Desire for Light", and "Amelioration from Light"? What do we see in the patients that leads us to one of these and not the others?
Thanks for your attention,
Feras
