Dr. Saxton's Textbook of Veterinary Medicine has become a classic in
the field of veterinary homeopathy. Please join us as we discuss his
new book, Miasms as Practical Tools.
The fascinating discussion on the role of miasms in treating chronic

we encourage you to join us, even if you are not a veterinarian!
John Saxton qualified in 1964 from the Royal Veterinary College,
London. After 5 years in mixed practice, he moved to Leeds in 1970
and set up his own companion animal practice. He became interested
in homeopathy in the late 1970s, and attended the courses at the
Faculty of Homeopathy in London, obtaining his Membership in 1988
and his Fellowship in 1996. He teaches homeopathy both in the UK and
abroad, and examines in veterinary homeopathy for the Faculty of
Homeopathy. He is also a recognized Examiner and Teacher for the
International Association for Veterinary Homeopathy. He is the
current President of the UK Faculty of Homeopathy.
John was coordinator of the IAVH Education sub-committee from 1999
to 2005. After leaving his practice in 2003, he is currently
involved with both teaching and writing on homeopathy. He is the co-
author, with Peter Gregory, of Textbook of Veterinary Homeopathy,
and his second book, Miasms as Practical Tools, has recently been
published. He runs a homeopathic referral practice in the Leeds
area, and is concerned with all species.
