Carcinosinum

Barbara,

I'm from Holland, but think it comes from Belgium.

Nelson London: ~15 different tumors
Dolisos Holland ~15,
VSM, Holland: 58
Homeoden: Belgium: 1
Dolisos Belgium: ~15,
Unda, Belgium: : 48,
Stauffen, Germany: 58,
Dhu, Germany: 17,
Dolisos, France: prohibited!
Boiron. France: prohibited!
Dolisos, Switzerland: ~15,
Schmidt-Nagel, Switzerland:1 changed to ~12 recently,
Boiron USA: 1
Dolisos USA: 1

Tinus Smits also from Holland claims much better results with the
Carcinosinum (15T) which is prepared from more different tumors.
He also invented Carcinosinum Cum Cuprum, made by Dolisos Holland.
He noticed that a lot of Carcinosinum patients had also a clear Cuprum side
on the same level.

I have here the Staufen Pharma Carcinosin in 30D (30X) if someone wants
some. Reportedly it has more than 50 different cancer tissues. I have
it in medicated pellets.

I had not thought of it before, but isn't this just a variant on
combination remedies?
It is quite likely that different cancer tissues (even the same class of cancer
from different people) could have different effects. They might well all
center around
what the original Carcinosin does, but perhaps vary a good bit.

So making a remedy with an arbitrary mix of tissues would really require
separate
provings for each mixture if you want to hope to know when you should use one
vs. another.

So while it is very interesting to know that certain practitioners have
better results
with certain forms of this - isn't it part of that slipper slope away from
using a single,
proven remedy. It may be practically necessary if we can't do better, but
not what
we should aim at?

One of the ESSENTIAL elements of being a classical Homoeopath is that one
only uses proven remedies.
