Thanks for this considered reply Chris,
It's very helpful. To let you know how this case unfolded - More
headaches were experienced - the client resorted to having panadol
rapid on hand. Her review appointment was for 3 weeks. After 2 weeks
she got her mother to phone and cancel the appointment. In all she
had seen the homoeopath 3 times at 3 week intervals - The first
prescription - Sepia LM3 daily had been generally helpful. The
second prescription - a movement to Sepia LM6 daily, coincided with
a sort of physical and emotional collapse. The third prescription -
a return to Sepia LM3 and the addition of Kali Phos LM3 both daily
coincided with these headaches. The patient's feeling was that this
homoeopath just knew how to make money out of people. The
appointments were priced quite highly, as were the remedies - so on
each remedy change more money went to the homoeopath's pocket. She
also began to wonder about whether if a person was in a weakened
state a remedy could actually result in a death. When the mother
explained about the headaches the homoeopath said - "She should have
phoned me about it", which apparently felt like he was passing off
his responsibility as he hadn't established this requirement with
the patient during the consultations.
Thanks to others who have taken the time to consider and share
around this - I've certainly learned a lot from it and I hope others
have too.
Gail.
