Re: skin suppression

I am a new student and have a question about suppressing the skin.
I've been an Aesthetician for the past 12 years. I've used Dr.
Hauschka products exclusively. I know they don't suppress.
In some of the reading I came across Sulphur ointments as being
suppressive? This is of great interest to me because I see people
using all kinds of things on their skin these days and am wondering
what the guidelines are whether to consider a substance as being
suppressive or if it's curing?
There are people using zinc creams, vit.C creams and also the
Anthroposophical Pharmacy where I order from sells Kali Sulph for body
acne and Psoriasis in a liquid dilution for the bath?
I'm especially concerned about acne, psoriasis and eczema.
I'm guessing the answer is to whether the cause has been dealt with
and if it just goes away with something being put on the skin and
nothing internal has been dealt with that it is probably being
suppressed.
Can anyone shine some light on this subject for me?
