Join us for a fascinating discussion of the complex relationship
between tobacco and humans! Homeopathic scholar and educator Richard
Pitt will be discussing his new book, Tobacco, an Exploration of its
Nature through the Prism of Homeopathy. Mr. Pitt has been practicing
homeopathy for over 18 years and teaching for more than 14 years.
Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Pacific Academy of
Homeopathy, San Francisco and has been on the board of the Council
for Homeopathic Certification for more than 20 years.
Richard was President of the CHC between 1995 - 2000 and Vice
President between 1993 - 1995. In these capacities, he redesigned
the national certification exam, introducing guidelines for
evaluation of clinical training as well as in-class training. He
helped make the CHC the largest certifying organization in North
America, with the vision of creating a united profession.
In 2006 Richard won the prestigious Henry Williams award for service
in homeopathy! Richard is an extremely knowledgeable and dynamic
instructor with decades of clinical experience and someone from
