I recentyl met Dr Gerry Potter a cancer drug researcher (!) who has
kind of accidentaly made some incredible discoveries about a certain
cancer fighting property of a substance found in fruit and veg - and
ONLY IN ORGANICALLY GROWN FRUIT AND VEG. Thats because it is the same
substances that help the plants to fight disease tha help us fight
disease and those substances are severley depleted by fungicides and
pesticides. The sprayed plants natural 'immune sytem' becomes 'lazy' -
surpise surprise - and ceases to produce the disease fighting
substances in any quantity.

They are getting some incredible results with the most advanced
cancers that have resisted other treatment.In a nutshell it seems that
the colours in fruit and veg contain a substsance that activates an
enzyme that exists only in cancer cells and causes the cancer cell to
self destruct.

andy its a nice idea but the quantities Cooper used would not work
according to modern research. Eating 5 portions or whatever of varied
organic fruit and veg plays a part in preventing cancer, probably by
making very early undetected cancerous changes self destruct by the
process described by these researchers. To rid the body of advanced
cancer requires using concentrated extracts or extreme dietary
measures. Cooper's methods always puzzled me and still do. I wonder
if anyone has ever reproduced his results. Not to my knowledge.

If you read how these salvestrol work its very exciting. ie their
specificity to malignant cells, their non toxicity even in
un-naturally high doses, and the fact that they dont actually 'kill'
anything but rather cause nasty things alone, to destroy themselves.
