what does duration of action of remedies mean?
does it mean that we should give the second dose of a remedy after
60days if its duration is 60 days.
or in 60 days it will complete its action and there will come its
comlementary.
in practice what is purpose of this term "DURATION OF ACTION"

It means for how long a time the remedy is expected to continue acting.
But it seems to be a nearly meaningless measure, because the "how
long" depends on many things--what patient, what remedy, what reason,
what circumstances...

Are you looking at the chart in the back of Boericke, perhaps? The
thing is is somewhat useful for, is comparing the paces of the remedies
to each other--e.g. noting how much longer-acting certain remedies are
compared to others.

That probably doesn't help you much, sorry...
