brain lesion in cat

dear all,

after receiving some wonderful and helpful posts on dealing with the
convulsive attacks in my 15 yr old female cat, i wanted to share some
feedback with you.

admittedly, i was in an emotional state when this happened last wednesday.
it was heartbreaking to see my kitty falling over and becoming emaciated.
but this is what happened:

i began to use low level laser on her head, 4-5x daily for 3-4 days and then backed
off on the number of treatments. within 2 days she began to gain some motor control
of her legs and you could see her struggling to direct her walking. her head had a
severe tilt to the right and her walking kept pulling her to the right. the allopathic
vets thought she was dying, had brain lesions, tumors, spinal embolisms, etc. the
2 that i talked with only agreed that it was probably neurological. i finally spoke with
a homeopathic vet who thought she sufferred vertigo and suggested nat s for head
injuries. i wasnt quite convinced but tried a couple of doses. but on day 3 i witnessed
a convulsion that occurred when she was beginning to eat, scoffing down food--she
was sooooo hungry. at that point i switched to her constitutional rx, nat mur which she
had done well on in the past. from that point on, her walking became much stronger,
her eating was frequent with small amounts being taken in. yesterday, i met with the
homeopathic vet to have some blood work done. my kitty is doing miraculously
well. she jumped off the rolling and mobil stool at the vets, about 30" high. this from a
cat that only 2 day earlier could not get off a couch unless rolling off it head first!
she is eating more regularly and beginning to regain her weight. her head still tilts,
but i see her able to move it around, sometimes almost straightening it out.

my assessment now is that she was highly toxic due to infections in her kidney and probably
from earlier conditions that had accumulated over time. her liver may not have been
able to process the toxins in her body and the brain was being affected. about a year
ago she was having episodes of yowling in fear and confusion which is a sx of toxins
in the body affecting the brain. at that time she had a stomach conditon that was creating
toxins in her body. currently, treating her brain with the low level laser began to help clear out
the toxins, the nat mur has helped deal with her clingyness and i am certain began to
help in other ways as well. i will continue to tx with the laser and rx for several weeks.
i have also begun to use the laser to help heal the paralysis that occurred in her neck.

so much for the allopaths who could only look down on me for not wanting to pump
her full of morphine and steroid drugs. and thanks to the holistic communities that have
been so supportive.

thanks

tanya
