just catching up with this - excellent and I agree - I spend far more
time reading materia medicas than what I do reps. But did I read that
you (Didi) didn't use the periodicity rubric, that being so SRP it
would take you almost straight to the simillimum - there's enough rx
in the rubric to go to MM's read/study them all without any other work
needing doing. Joy

Do you really not work with 'essences' ??

but just to add to the retrospective understanding of the case - in
many ways the epilepsy was not what needed to be cured but that which
had suppressed it and your genius choice of rx hit that mark straight
away. But the peculiarity of the exact periodicity of the fits is a
wonderful example of how the 'cause' of the disease mimics the end
results of the disease itself, i.e. malaria is often defined as a
tertian fever (that word is still used in the reps and you might even
find a rubric for suppressed tertian fever) and tertian is all about
exact periodicity (isn't it used as a musical chord term?) and this

Talking of which, I have a px who drinks Tonic Water in preference to the plain stuff -
and has done for a long, long time. Whilst her sx don't support a 'China' prx
particularly (except for the diverticulosis), has anyone else seen this kind of scenario
or would like to suggest rems. for taking quinine on a regular basis (albeit diluted !)

Her main concern is stress incontinence (but she is 86). It ONLY happens when she
has to hurry to the toilet after drinking tea with a friend.

Other problem being her diagnosed diverticula problem, which manifests as a
writhing sensation when sitting, and sometimes lying at night (which means taking
Nux to get her off to sleep -- she is familiar with hx and this is the only thing that
works, but it is just palliation).

Haven't permission for a full case, but if anything springs to mind, feel free !
