Hello everyone,

I would appreciate your opinions on a case please

patient early 20's has had extreme stresses in life- violent father who has hunted for person wherever they have been - only to threaten and swear at patient when found [father needs lyc]
patient hid themselves from family for a few years after being told by persons they trusted [who misconstured information] that other family members were going to look for them.
won't eat meat or any animal products
extreme in control of food - had a mania for eating only loaves of bread a few weeks ago which Aurum dismissed.
very intelligent. interested in business and not in own pleasure -
puts self in the face of danger- walks at night alone.
During day likes to exercise.Has convinced themselves they don't need anybody but in reality very lonely. Seems to be them alone against the world.
Very thin.
Sudden rage with glassy/sparkling eyes when swears and accuses others of being selfish etc. Revengeful or threatens to be so at that time.
dresses in untidy clothes, which are torn. no personal pride. After 1 dose of Aur next day they were neat and tidy and shaved etc but aur hasn't helped again.= 2 doses of aur given and helped [lack of interest in self and eating bread] but 3rd one didn't help all the rest of this situation with rages etc./hiding self from others.
Thinks someone who has had a few sips of a glass of wine is drunk.
Slanderous at these times and aggressive physically and in word to relatives- tells them to stay away.
Says they are selfish when they have given the patient all help in every way possible.
patient has tried very hard to help their life - has studied many intellectual things and applies it well but seem to be nothing goes well as no mentors to guide. Is distressed as feels needs to get life in order quickly while there is anyone who they can share similar interests with.
Says is well and healthier than others because of the vegan lifestyle when in actuality is emaciated.
Before rages and swearing breathing becomes very deep- not sighing. Likes to deep breathe..[ every day at least aggressive in nature/response but not always swearing]
Never relaxed
Always wanted a family and when young was worried about growing up without a father to guide. Now has only mother who he takes anger out on so must present a good face to the world to have some people to establish relationships with. Will not recall any memories of the past as no happy ones. Wants to go forward
Unrealistic attitudes towards work and money. Thinks in establishing big enterprises to make money [not to be rich but to be creative and have a good lifestyle and help others] which may not be possible to undertake. Does not care to work normal jobs although has done so before.Not capable now of holding down a job anyway.
Considerate of others and gets on well with people. Interested in history and dwells in mind too much - a compensation for other areas of life?. Rarely smiles but when does so is very affecitonate as in Puls.. Helpful to others.
Pain Big toes [cannot touch at all] - used to have ingrown toenails which were operated on unsuccessfully and nailbed burnt with acid to prevent regrowth inside side of toe which was felt when anaesthetic didn't take. Now has terrible pain in toes but Drs can't find any infection or ingrown nail etc. Has been told is phantom pain. Walks on heels to avoid toes touching the ground and can't have shoes touch toes. [Aur hasn't helped this]

Used to be very affectionate. And has spurts of this
Puls helped when young at times

Am thinking Nat Mur.

Will need to make the best use of limited opportunity to treat patient ias the person is estranged from family.

Please suggest your best ideas

Just as a thought--is Stramonium plausible? The history of fear;
briliant eyes; "intellectual"; feels alone in the world, yet
affectionate (stram has a relationship with Puls)??

lots of possibilities here -

why does he walk alone at night? is this part of the being hunted and
hiding state?

why is he so angry, is it because of his violent father - but he has a
level of cunning control of this anger because he is able to recognise
that he needs to present a good face to the world

the lack of control outside of his world has created an inner and
unhealthy control over matters such as food - the actual food is
possibly irrelevant - occupied with trifles ( not the edible kind)

this hunted/hiding and persecuted state is suggestive of animals and
insects such as spiders and scorpion for example but there are some
plants that mimic that kind of state such as Staphysagria (initially is
very sweet but in time becomes eaten up with anger because it has been
suppressed for so long), Hyos and Stramonium and also Melilot - this is
the rx that wants to run away and hide but it also full of anger and
hate if anyone approaches

is the exciting cause disappointment, loss of nurture (guidance as you
write) - you'd always want to thinking about the milks (all animals)
and Lac caninum is maybe the angriest of them??

but he also seems to have a peculiar mix of sympathy and anger - here I
would think of Nitric acid, so angry and yet so sad, so full of hate
and yet very sympathetic to the needs of others - Nitric acid also has
ingrowing toe nails and doesn't like walking on their feet - you need
to ask him what that sensation is, if it is 'splinter' like then Nit-ac
could be the rx

the ammoniums can also be like this, i.e. so disappointed and thus they
hold a bitter or angry grudge and out of this lack of balance comes an
idealism that is equally imbalanced (his high ideals about making money
are suggestive of this) and Scholten designates Ammonium carb as "My
father is a shit" - many of the ammoniums are suffocative, need air,
need to vent, trapped in a bottle and going stir crazy.
