[SPAM?] elderly on many meds

It sounds as if the problem is with her medications. Do you know the reason for raising the dosage(s)? Many elderly, especially those who are depressed, are remiss when it comes to questioning doctors about prescriptions. Sleepiness and uncertain footing suggest, among other possibilities, a blood pressure med given in too high a dosage. (Remember, elderly metabolism is often slow, too.)
Either your patient or someone acting as her advocate needs to question her doctor about her meds. and advise him/her of the side effects this patient is experiencing.
Peace,
Cinnabar
