Hi,

I am looking for a list of Rx that have clinically been found to help patients who have Esophagus stricture (narrowing) especially in elderly people (a woman patient, 74 years old), in addition to Condurango.

Have you ruled out tumours?

Also a sensation of stricture can be experienced if the Esophagus has been
burnt with hot food or drink.

Hi Rafy,
I'm told this situation can result from long-term acid reflux causing
scar tissue, tho I gather it could also be nervous instead.

Hi Shannon and all,

I am going to go over 3 esophagus cases that are currently in progress. For
#1 and #3 I have questions. The most pressing question is in #1.

#1. I have one case that is narrowing because of hardening of the
esophagus. It is part of scleraderma what is called one of the CREST
symptoms of the non-aggressive form of systemic scleraderma. With the
suggestion of Dr. Roz, I am using Thiosinaminum 6c 1x/day to help dissolve
the scar tissue caused by acid reflux, I am getting no clear resolution
of the specific disease sx of scleraderma over 6 months. Worst of all, the
sensation of being cold and infections on her finger tips due to a lack of
circulation have not changed. Her general condition has improved somewhat,
but she is doing a number of different therapies in a fight for her life and
I can't judge if the Thios is helping her. The Thios is a specific remedy
not a general remedy although the vague outline of what it known about Thios
might fit. Other remedies are much better fits as general remedies. One
alternative it to increase the dosage to 12c and then give a general
remedy. I am also considering using the Thios in the morning and the
general remedy at night as needed or visa versa. Maybe before I alternate,
I should lay off on the Thios and just do the general remedy so that I can
get a good reading of it. Then if alternation seems useful, do that.

#2 The other case is a Bartya Carbonica using LMs as a general remedy is
working very well. After 7 months resolution of much suppressed catarrh has
taken place. Occasional troubles with the esophagus, but the over all case
is all positive. So, I think complete resolution is a matter of time. This
was a very clear case of suppression.

#3. I want to ask about surgery to narrow the esophagus. Is such surgery
considered suppressive?
Here is the situation:
I just took the case of 3 children in one family with a rare form of MS.
Along with a huge list of symptoms, they were all received laser surgery to
tighten the entry of the esophagus near the stomach. The muscles in the
core of the body are weak. So the valve to the esophagus was opening up
when they vomited. For 2 of the children it took two operations to get the
right size. Without this operation, they were not only vomiting many times
a day, but also bile was coming in the vomit and they were having kidney
problems Presumably the bile was backing up into the kidney too?? This
problem is no longer occurring. Do I consider it in the case?

It seems that there are so many disease symptoms, the cases are
overwhelming. After spending two days with the children, and much
discussion with the mother, I can clearly see the differences between the
children. (ages 7, 6 and 2). I think I should include only symptoms that
are distinct for that child. Other disease symptoms have to be ignored.
Thus in answer to my own question,
I should not worry about the esophagus symptoms that are only disease
specific not child specific. If the surgery was suppressive, it is not
relevant to the case. They all had the same problem.

Dear Rafy,
For esophagial stricture [OS] I think symtomatic Rx is best. To tell about some pathological Rx Thiosinn 3x does wonder. plus Graph to break stricture. Dr. Raakrishnan A.U adv Caust [esp for Mgl. [OS]. And also Cajuput
