Jet lag

I was quite delighted when working up a case which included a 'never
well since'- overseas travel, to find Lachesis, which came up as the
constitutional, to have an application for jet lag. Clarke says of
it: "A curious symptom in the mental sphere is a derangement of the
time sense. It occurs also in Merc (to which Lach. is an antidote);
but is more prominent in Lach., when a patient is always making
mistakes in the time of day, and confounds the morning hours with the
evening hours, Lach. will generally put this right, if it does no
more." Add to this the problems around sleeping, and that it can give
a very good night's sleep, it could be helpful.
The other remedy that I use is the Australian Bush Flower mix -
'Travelessence'. I also remember reading that Arnica is good for
jetlag - something to do with daisies following the sun.
