Dear Minutus Listers,

In the process of trying to obtain two substances that have never been
proved (I would like to create a potentized dilution of these two
substances--I will announce them later if anyone on the list would like
to use them in some provings), I approached a prominent professor of
chemistry, asking him to provide me with the sources for these two
chemicals.

First, his reaction was that he sees absolutely no MEDICAL value in
administering these poisons in ANY dilution to people. He said there is
enough pollution in the world so why add poisons...

When I explained to him at great detail the process of Homeopathic
dilution and succussion, and the 12C - Avogadro's number facts, and the
higher potencies that are used in provings, he had the following question:
scientific or medical literature to the medicinal benefit of any "12C"
homeopathic solution. >
I have saved most of the posts on the Skeptics that has been going on
for a while now. But I am afraid that this professor will be
overwhelmed by the entire discussion, so I would like to ask your
learned opinion, of how to answer him briefly and effectively. This
gentleman is not someone that we can challange to join a proving...

May I suggest that your learned professor talk to my learned professor, and

information in order to convince this old guy to contact yours...

Dear Sara,

If he cantaccept a simple explanation of homeopathic, just challenge him to follow the process of creating a remedy and doing a proving. He doesnt have to participate. If he cant even muster up some scientific curiosity find another chemist or source!
