Hello all,
I have usually relied on Kent's repertory, but lately I have been
trying to familiarize myself with the B-B repertory. I couldn't help
noticing that some of the rubrics seem to have a very limited number of
remedies. So, I found some rubrics which seem to be parallel to rubrics
in Kent in order to compare the remedies in each. Example
EYES/photophobia. B-B has about 40 some remedies; Kent, well over a
hundred. Furthermore, some of the remedies in the highest grade in Kent
do not even appear in B-B. Example Arg-n, Lac-c, etc. (Of course, B-B
has fewer remedies overall, but this doesn't explain these omissions.)
I looked up Arg-n in Clarke and the first symptom under eyes is
photophobia, but under Lac-c there is no mention of photophobia. So,
anyway it's definitely got me wondering about these differences. Any
thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
cheers,
Ethan
